You don’t have to visit Paris to experience a true french classic, the café au lait. Made of equal quantities of coffee and milk, you can adjust to your taste. Serve with a croissant or something sweet to kick off your day.

  1. Warm up the mug by adding hot water to it, leave for 15 seconds then tip out the water.
  2. Heat up the milk using the milk frother or the steam wand of an espresso machine
  3. Pour the coffee into the mug and add an equal quantity of the heated milk. Take a sip and if you would like more milk, add it to the mug.
  4. Scoop out some foam to lightly put on top
  5. Enjoy with a pastry
