You don’t have to visit Paris to experience a true french classic, the café au lait. Made of equal quantities of coffee and milk, you can adjust to your taste. Serve with a croissant or something sweet to kick off your day.

- Warm up the mug by adding hot water to it, leave for 15 seconds then tip out the water.
- Heat up the milk using the milk frother or the steam wand of an espresso machine
- Pour the coffee into the mug and add an equal quantity of the heated milk. Take a sip and if you would like more milk, add it to the mug.
- Scoop out some foam to lightly put on top
- Enjoy with a pastry
