Delicious frappes are available all over Greece. It’s the perfect way to cool down after a dip in the Aegean sea. Until then, we can make these at home to either enjoy outside or on the go.
Ingredients
- A single or double shot espresso
- 1/2 cup chilled fresh milk, either dairy or plant-based
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 cup ice
- Superfine sugar, or sugar syrup

- Make the espresso and pour it into the blender. Add the ice, vanilla essence and chilled milk
- Blend on high until the ice is blended up and it’s starting to get frothy
- Add sugar to taste, pulsing the blender to mix everything together
- Serve in a tall glass with a reusable straw
