Delicious frappes are available all over Greece. It’s the perfect way to cool down after a dip in the Aegean sea. Until then, we can make these at home to either enjoy outside or on the go.

Ingredients

  • A single or double shot espresso
  • 1/2 cup chilled fresh milk, either dairy or plant-based
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 cup ice
  • Superfine sugar, or sugar syrup

  1. Make the espresso and pour it into the blender. Add the ice, vanilla essence and chilled milk
  2. Blend on high until the ice is blended up and it’s starting to get frothy
  3. Add sugar to taste, pulsing the blender to mix everything together
  4. Serve in a tall glass with a reusable straw
